Vibeark — Safety Policy

Your safety matters. This Safety Policy explains how Vibeark helps keep you safe and, importantly, what you must do to protect yourself when chatting with strangers. It is part of our Terms of Use and works with the Community Guidelines, Content Policy, and User Reporting & Moderation Policy.

✅ 10 Safety Essentials

1. You're talking to strangers. We can't verify anyone's age, gender, location, profession, or honesty.
2. Stay anonymous. Don't share your full name, address, workplace, or school.
3. Never share financial information — bank details, UPI, OTPs, card numbers, or passwords.
4. Be cautious with links and files — they may be scams or malware.
5. Watch for romance/financial scams. No genuine stranger needs your money.
6. Meeting offline is entirely at your own risk. Meet in public, tell a friend, and stay in control.
7. Some chats are with an AI companion, clearly labelled — it is not a real person.
8. Block anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
9. Report abuse, threats, or illegal behaviour so we can act.
10. In an emergency, contact local authorities immediately (in India, dial 112).

1. Understand the Anonymous Environment

Vibeark is anonymous, and identities are not verified. This means:

We do not guarantee any user's age, gender, location, profession, or truthfulness.
People may not be who they claim to be.
You choose what to share — so share carefully.

2. Protect Your Personal Information

Do not share:

Your full name, home or work address, or exact location.
Phone number, personal email, or social media handles (unless you fully accept the risk).
Financial details: bank account, UPI ID, card numbers, OTPs, or passwords.
Photos or documents that could identify you or be used against you.

No legitimate person or process will ask for your OTP, password, or money through an anonymous chat.

3. Recognise Scams

Be alert to:

Romance scams — someone builds trust quickly, then asks for money or gifts.
Financial scams — "investment opportunities," fake emergencies, or requests to move money.
Phishing — links or files asking you to log in or download something.

If it feels off, stop, block, and report.

4. Meeting Offline — At Your Own Risk

Vibeark does not conduct background checks and takes no responsibility for offline meetings. If you choose to meet someone:

Meet in a public place during the day.
Tell a trusted friend where you're going and who with.
Arrange your own transport and keep your phone charged.
Don't share your home address; don't go to private/isolated locations.
Trust your instincts — leave if you feel unsafe.

You are solely responsible for your decision to meet anyone in person.

5. Tools We Provide

Block — immediately stop contact from a user.
Report — flag abusive or unsafe behaviour for moderator review.
Moderation — we review reports and may suspend or ban accounts. See the User Reporting & Moderation Policy.

6. How We Respond to Safety Risks

6.1 We may investigate reports and take action, including removing content and suspending accounts.

6.2 We may cooperate with law enforcement and, in emergencies involving a risk of death or serious physical harm, disclose information to authorities where permitted by law. See the Law Enforcement Request Policy.

6.3 We may preserve evidence where required by law or necessary to protect users.

7. If You're in Crisis

The Vibeark AI Companion and other users are not emergency services or mental-health professionals.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services — in India, dial 112.
If you're struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional or a recognised mental-health helpline in your area. (Vibeark may add current, verified India helpline numbers here — only list numbers you have confirmed are accurate and active.)

8. Responsible Disclosure (Security)

Found a security bug? Report it to vibearkin@gmail.com and give us reasonable time to fix it. Do not access other users' data or disrupt the Service. We appreciate good-faith reports.
