This policy explains how the Vibeark AI Chat Companion ("AI Companion") works and its limits. It is part of our Terms of Use and should be read with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Safety Policy.

1. The AI is software, not a human. It is clearly labelled inside the Service.
2. It may be offered when a real user isn't available, or in other situations we choose.
3. It can be wrong. Output may be inaccurate, outdated, biased, or made-up.
4. It's for casual conversation only.
5. It is NOT medical advice.
6. It is NOT legal advice.
7. It is NOT financial or investment advice.
8. It is NOT emergency assistance — in a crisis, contact local services (in India, 112).
9. It will not encourage emotional dependency; it's not a replacement for real relationships or professional help.
10. Conversations may be logged for service improvement only where disclosed and to maintain safety.

1. What the AI Companion Is

1.1 The AI Companion is an AI-powered chat feature that can hold casual, conversational exchanges with you. It may be offered when a real user is unavailable, or in other circumstances we choose.

1.2 Clear identification. When you are chatting with the AI Companion, it is clearly identified as AI within the Service — it is not a real person.

The AI Companion is currently powered by Google Gemini.

2. Limitations — Please Read

2.1 May be inaccurate. AI can generate responses that are wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased, or entirely fabricated ("hallucinations"). Do not rely on it as a source of truth.

2.2 Conversation only. The AI Companion is for informal conversation and companionship-style chat. It is not a professional, an expert, or an authority.

2.3 Not professional advice. The AI Companion does not provide, and must not be relied on for:

Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment;
Legal advice;
Financial, tax, or investment advice;
Psychological, mental-health, or crisis counselling;
Emergency assistance of any kind.

Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.

2.4 No emotional-dependency encouragement. The AI Companion is designed for light conversation and is not a substitute for real human relationships, therapy, or professional support. It should not be treated as a source of emotional dependency.

3. Acceptable Use of the AI Companion

3.1 The Community Guidelines, Content Policy, and Prohibited Activities apply to your interactions with the AI Companion.

3.2 Do not attempt to use the AI Companion to generate prohibited content (for example, CSAM, content that facilitates crime, malware, or content that harms others), or to "jailbreak," manipulate, or misuse the system.

3.3 We may filter, refuse, or stop AI responses and may take action on your account for misuse.

4. Data and Privacy

4.1 Your messages to the AI Companion are processed to generate replies, which may involve our AI provider.

4.2 Conversations may be logged for service improvement only where disclosed, and to maintain safety and prevent misuse, consistent with the Privacy Policy.

4.3 Do not share sensitive personal, financial, or identifying information with the AI Companion.

Messages you send to the AI Companion are transmitted to Google Gemini to generate replies, and are handled under Google's applicable API terms. Vibeark does not sell these conversations. Depending on the API tier in use, Google may retain this content and use it to improve its own services. We have not configured any provider-side guarantee to the contrary, so please treat AI Companion chats as not private, and never share personal, financial, or identifying information with the AI Companion.

5. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use, interpret, and act on AI Companion output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibeark is not liable for any decision you make or action you take based on AI Companion output. See the Limitation of Liability in the Terms of Use and the Disclaimer.

6. Changes

The AI Companion is an evolving feature and may be changed, limited, or withdrawn at any time (including as a beta feature). See Section 17 of the Terms of Use.
