This policy explains how Vibeark uses cookies and browser storage (local storage and session storage) on https://vibeark.co.in. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

1. What These Technologies Are

Cookies — small text files stored by your browser.
Local storage — browser storage that persists until cleared.
Session storage — browser storage cleared when you close the tab/session.

We and our providers use these to keep the Service working, keep you signed in, and understand usage.

2. What We Use and Why

Vibeark sets no cookies of its own. Everything we store is in your browser's local or session storage, and it is all either strictly necessary or a preference. The main item is your Supabase authentication token, which keeps you signed in. Alongside it we store your profile and settings (vibeProfile, vibeSparkProfile, vibeAutoUsername), your friends list (vibeFriendsList, sparkFriendsList), unread-message and streak counters (_dmUnread, _vibeStreak, _vibeFirstVisit), and a few small UI flags. None of it is used to profile you or shared with advertisers, and you can clear all of it at any time from your browser settings.

We do not use cookies to sell your data or for third-party advertising, and Vibeark does not currently run any advertising networks.

3. Third-Party Providers

Some storage is set by our service providers to deliver the Service, including:

Supabase (authentication/session);
Render (hosting), and Cloudflare (Turnstile bot check on sign-in — this is a security check, not tracking).

Vibeark does not currently use third-party analytics providers.

Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and our Privacy Policy.

4. Your Choices

Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies and clear local/session storage in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary storage will break sign-in and core features.
Consent. Vibeark currently uses only strictly necessary and preference storage, so a cookie-consent banner is not required at this time. If we later add non-essential cookies or analytics, we will ask for your consent where the law requires and update this policy.

5. Changes

We may update this policy as our use of these technologies changes. The "Effective date" shows the latest version.
