name. Vibeark never asks for it.
What "anonymous" actually means here
Anonymity is a word a lot of apps use loosely, so here is the specific version:
- No phone number. Not for guests, not for registered accounts. Ever.
- No real name. You pick a display name; that is all a stranger sees.
- No contact upload. Vibeark does not read your contacts or your gallery.
- No location tracking. We do not ask for GPS permission.
- No third-party analytics and no tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no ad network on this site. That is not a slogan — it is checkable, and it is why you see no cookie banner.
- Guest chats are temporary and wiped automatically.

You can use Vibeark forever as a guest. An account exists only so your friends
list and saved chats survive across devices — and you can
delete it whenever you want.
Why anonymity matters more than people think
Anonymity is not about hiding something bad. It is about being able to say
something true. People ask a stranger about a mental health scare, a job they
hate, a relationship they cannot talk about at home, or something they are simply
embarrassed to Google. Attach a real name to any of that and most people just do
not say it.
The trade-off is honest: anonymity protects you, and it protects the other person
too — including people who behave badly. That is why reporting on Vibeark is tied
to a real account rather than being fully anonymous, so bans actually stick.
Staying anonymous is partly on you
The app cannot leak what it never collects, but you can. The three mistakes that
undo everything:
- Typing your number, Instagram handle or email into the chat. Once you send it, it is theirs.
- Sending photos with your face, your street, your college or your car.
- Sending money, UPI IDs, OTPs or bank details. No genuine person asks.

What happens to my messages?
Guest chat data is wiped automatically. Messages in saved friend chats stay until you delete them or delete your account. Reported chats may be reviewed for safety.
How do I delete my data?
Delete your account from the app, or follow the steps in the Account Deletion Policy. Guest data needs no action — it is removed on its own.
